Silicon Valley new-comer Bluepulse has recently made a huge splash in the space of mobile social networking.  The seasoned Australian team released the long-awaited Bluepulse 2.0 in public beta last December.  After receiving $6M in Series A funding from VantagePoint Venture Partners, Bluepulse decided to relocate to the San Mateo.

A big welcome is due to Bluepluse, as their impressive application works on approximately a billion WAP enabled phones.  BluepulseÂ?s open platform provides end-users with various communication channels including broadcast messaging, content sharing, chat, and mobile widgets (i.e Flickr, Digg, Gmail).  It\’s like Facebook for mobile. The number of functions in the Bluepulse application is impressive alone.  With an ad-based business model and adoption in over 150 countries to date, Bluepulse offers promising opportunities for precise, targeted mobile broadcast advertising.
